3-D Wet Felted Vessels

Cost: $41 ($36 instructor fee + $5 for the Art Center)
This is a good introduction to 3 dimensional wet felt work, used in making vessels, bags, slippers, etc. It's both a process AND a project workshop in the sense that all students will complete a felted vessel, as well as learn techniques and material applications that can be used in further felt design.
Supplies provided by instructor for the workshop:
Merino top wool for vessels; additional surface design materials such as silk hankies, noil, and other fibers. Vicki will also provide resists, felting mats, soap gel, electric tea kettles, etc.
Students should bring 2-3 small towels, a couple sponges and a dishpan or similar shallow plastic container. All other materials provided.
