May Workshop- It's Finished So How Do I Show it?

We will be looking at ways to hang free hanging cloth, mounted and/or framed pieces, stabilized cloth, sleeves for both quilts and art cloth and any other suggestions you may have. Special attention will be given to the showing manner used by Indian Rocks Beach for our upcoming show. You will leave with one piece, a 9 x 9 gallery covered canvas frame, ready to hang either at the show , in your home or at any other gallery or home. We will also have many examples of items that are available locally to make your hanging/showing easier.

Please bring the following items – your lunch if you are staying for the after-noon workshop, a pair of scissors, and one finished art piece no larger than 8" x 8" for your finished project. Also bring any other pieces you have, finished, that you would like help in preparing to hang. Coffee and finger rolls will be available when you arrive and we will begin promptly with a showing of Jane Dunnewold’s DVD, FRAME IT – Easy Solutions for Framing and Finishing Art Work. We hope to have a few copies of the DVD from Jane available for sale, $35.00 plus postage which will be prorated per DVD received from Jane, to those who would like it for future reference.
