Florida State Fair Fiber Arts Competition

Beginning this year we are encouraging our SDG members to participate in the Florida State Fair Fiber Arts Competition, February 9-20, 2017. A new division has been created just for art cloth and textile surface design. This is a great way to give your work a wider audience and broaden our outreach for the TBSDG. You may submit work created in the last two years that has not previously been shown at the FL State Fair. All of us should have some work available that fits these criteria. Entry fee is $3 per piece. We will be collecting entered work at our January SDG meeting on January 9 for delivery to the FL State Fairgrounds. Your work must be labeled with your name and the Division and Class.

All applications to have your work considered for the fair are due by January 6, 2017. You are encouraged to enter online here: http://www.floridastatefair.com/p/events/282.
