It is the tradition of the TBSDG, INC to host a Holiday Party at our December meeting. This is a great opportunity for our members to get to know each other better and enjoy good food and fellowship. This is one of the most enjoyable meetings of the year, so please plan to attend. We want to celebrate the holidays with all of our members.
The meal is pot luck, so bring a covered dish of your choice. The guild provides a ham, water and tea, ice, and all paper goods. There will also be coffee.
If you have spare holiday decorations that you can bring to help make our meeting room look more festive, please arrive early to help decorate (the room will be open at 5:00 pm). We have centerpieces, but more decorations can be added.
Contact Cindie Townley, email@example.com if you would like to help with activities.
This year, those who will be attending the retreat in January will be making fabric bingo cards, and everyone else is invited to make their own handmade artistic name tag. If you have scrap fabrics and materials, ephemera, and any mixed media tidbits that you would like to donate to this activity, bring them along.
Each year we share our artistic talents with each other in the form of a gift exchange. Participation is optional, but if you participate, bring an artful item handmade by you in a Publix type paper grocery bag. Do not mark or decorate the outside of the bag in any way. Please insert a card with your name in the bag with your gift so the recipient knows who the artist is.The limit to spend on materials is $15, the value can be priceless. No holiday themed items, please.
We hope to see all our members at the party to Celebrate 20 years of Tampa Bay Surface Design Guild, INC.
