It is the tradition of the TBSDG to host a Holiday Party at our December meeting, December 9, 6:30-8:30PM, doors open at 5PM. This is a great opportunity for our members to get to know each other better and enjoy good food and fellowship. This is one of the most enjoyable meetings of the year, so please plan to attend. We want to celebrate the holidays with all of our members.
The meal is pot luck, so please bring a covered dish of your choice. The Guild provides a ham, water, ice and all paper goods.
Contact Chris Clark (allsewnup23@aol.com) if you would like to help with activities or decorations. Everyone is invited to make their own handmade artistic name tag or small wearable mixed media ornamental collage. If you have scrap fabrics and lace, decorative fibers, yarns, threads, decorative papers, beads, buttons or any miscellaneous embellishment materials that you would like to share for these activities, bring them along. We also need glue and glue guns.
Each year we share our artistic talents with each other in the form of a gift exchange. Participation is optional, but if you participate, bring an artful item handmade by you in a plain paper bag (such as Publix). Do not mark or decorate the outside of your gift in any way but be sure to put a “made by” card with your name inside. The max limit to spend on materials is $15, the value of the gift is priceless. No holiday themed items, please.
We look forward to celebrating with all of you what has been a very busy and successful year and to an equally exciting 2020 of Surface Design activities in the Tampa Bay area! We have an awesome group of artists, so let's celebrate!!!
