Nuno felted scarf using prefelts and silk and cotton gauze.

 A lot of the members have done some basic nuno felting. This workshop is fun because we use an Australian merino prefelt that is then layered with fine pieces of hand-carded wool and silk batts and incorporates other fibers such as silk and cotton gauze. The result is a more creative experience for fiber artists across disciplines and the scarf or shawl has a much more interesting collage like effect. These scarves are ultra-light weight but not cob-webby and very suitable for Florida during the cooler months. 80.00 per person includes merino prefelt, hand carded wool batts and all materials
