Abstract printing on Fabric and Paper II

All Participants must be Covid vaccinated

Proof of vaccination required to attend

Create abstract expressionism like painting with screen printing. Using very transparent acrylic paints and a blank screen you will learn to create your own version of an abstract painting. These pieces can be considered finished on their own or can be a base for further surface design techniques.

Instructor will provide:

All paints

A small assortment of papers

Some plastic sheeting.

Students will need to provide:

Fabric - any fiber content (Not too textured, like terry cloth)

Papers of any kind

1-2 small blank silk screens

Small squeegee

Plastic sheeting to separate prints (Prints will still be wet when you leave)

Felt to provide a padded surface

Paper towels, rags or towels

Cost: $75 which includes Beach Art Center fee.
