Welcome Guild Members:
At the October 17 workshop we will be using a variety of millefiori "canes" to make "Bugs" like the ones pictured above---and beyond. Canes can take a long time to put together, so I will be bringing a large variety of my existing bars for you to use. I'll also have plain clay for accents and whatever. There will be: At least 2 pasta machines A food processor (for fast color mixing) A variety of wires--twisted colors, shaped antlers, and off the spool Rhinestones, beads, iridescent powders An oven Pin backs and glue You will need to bring: A small bottle of regular alcohol and paper towels for cleaning A wide blade for slicing Any personal beads, item or tool shape you want to press into clay A needle tool Smooth work surface (even a plastic placemat) to be taped to table A small packet of clay if you have a particular fav color you want to work with, tho I'll have plenty The cost will be $75.00 including the Beach Art Center Fee Any questions, text me at 773-988-0863 Looking forward, Karyn Kozak
