Member Registration Traditional Batik on Silk by Peggy Wertheim – $95.00
Create art with the breathtaking beautiful artform of Traditional Batik. This is the artform where we dye each color from the lightest to the darkest, rewaxing between the colors. You will have your choice of creating 1-2 silk scarves (11”x60”) or 1-2 silk pieces (16”x20”) for framing or pillows, etc. A wealth of drawn designs, reference books and handout packet provided. No experience necessary!

****In this 1 Day Workshop, our batiks will be created with 2-3 dyebaths with applications of more wax between each dyebath. Please let me know if I can answer anything about batiking or the workshop.
