Description: Students will learn to dye on fabric using Procion dyes and fluid acrylic paints. Various techniques will be demonstrated.

Materials Instructor Brings: dyes and paints
Materials Student Brings: fabric (10 yds high quality muslin; 2 yd lengths), plastic food storage bags, rubber bands, marbles or other similar items, clamps (C-clamps or spring clamps), clothes pins, chip clips, wood or tile or acrylic shapes to clamp to fabric, paint stirrer or large popsicle sticks, several 3-4 inch diameter poles approx. 12 inches long, dish tub or litter box.
If you would like to take home some premixed dyes, bring plastic containers such as condiment bottles or hair dye bottles.
