Opening: Friday, May 17 at 6:00 Show Runs: May 18 – August 4, 2024 This show will be partly Marlene’s work and partly Guild members work. They would like our work that has been influenced by or created with Marlene. Leepa-Ratner would like to show some collections of Marlene’s work. If you have scarves, valentines, cards or pin weavings made by or with Marlene, please let the Show Committee know. Leepa Ratner will: -Hang show – all work will be hung at their discretion -Accept 2-D and 3-D work and clothing.
LR has 15 pedestals, you will provide mannequins -Insure the show -Our work cannot be sold by LR - has to be sold by the artist. Put your email address on the label info for customers to contact you. -LR will provide a Contract for each artist to sign and give info - Work can’t be taken down until show closes SDG members will: - Each member can enter up to 3 pieces in the show. - Email photo of your work by March 15 (doesn’t have to be perfect - a phone photo is okay) - Collect all work and contracts at the April 8th SDG meeting. We will take all work to LR on April 9th. - Provide ready-to-hang work. Work will be hung on nails. - Send out e-vites & invitations to your mailing lists. - Come and enjoy the opening. LR wants docent/gallery helpers the night of the opening. - The show committee will pick up work @ LR on August 9th. Your work will be ready for pick up at the SDG August 12 meeting. If you can’t pick your work up please arrange for someone else to do it. If you would like your work to be considered by LR for the printed invitation, please submit a 300 dpi high resolution photo of your work by March 15, 2024 to sarahdesign@yahoo.com.
