WOWIE ZOWIE: MARBLED COTTON FAT QUARTERS

Workshop Description:
This workshop will be an exciting new level of designing your own collection of Marbled Cotton Fat Quarters. We will start the workshop with detailed Marbling steps review to marble a sheet of 18”x25” paper for practice. The workshop is geared for you if you have already learned the marbling basics. (New students: Please contact me prior to signing up.)
Next, we will continue with 3 types of cotton fabrics cut into 6 fat quarters to create various designs such as Chevron, Peacock, Frogs Foot, Spanish Wave, Stone Marble, etc. The last part of the workshop will give you an opportunity to experiment with skewers, brushes, spray bottles, straws, and anything else you would like to try.
****I will have all the cottons alummed so they will just need a light pressing before we marble them. (FYI: All fabrics must be treated with alum prior to marbling.)
****All you need to bring is your lunch and a beverage. I will have everything else (including aprons, gloves, paper towels, table coverings and everything we need!)
