Location: Leepa-Ratner Museum Gallery @ St. Petersburg College, 600 E Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689
In this Fashion Show we will share the best examples of our Guild’s creative use of sewing, embellishing, weaving, stenciling, screen and block printing, hand-dyeing, beading, embroidering and more, on clothing, jewelry, hats, and bags of all types and sizes. Designs for women, men and children. You may include work already shown at our 2022 or 2023 SDG member shows.
FASHION SHOW - Leepa-Rattner will:
- Provide the Interactive Gallery with seating for 120 and an elevated runway, sound system, lighting, and dressing area.
- Sara Felice will narrate the show.
- Produce a program without listing prices.
- Our work cannot be sold by Leepa-Rattner - it must be sold by the artist. Your email address will be listed in the program for customers to contact you.
- Leepa-Rattner will provide the refreshments for the Fashion Show.
- Leepa-Rattner will charge an entrance fee for the Fashion Show.
FASHION SHOW - TBSDG members will:
- Model their fashions themselves or request that June Colburn find a model for your clothing and accessories.
- Provide long mirrors, make-up mirrors, 3-4 clothing racks and 2 irons and ironing boards. If you can help with any of these, please let June know.
- Each member can enter as many pieces as they want. No size limitation or limitation on date made. This is your opportunity to show your best work.
- Email jpgs of your work by June 14 to junecolburndesigns@gmail.com (phone photos are fine)
- You will be notified by June 24th if you have been juried into the show.
- Email description of your accepted work to June Colburn at junecolburndesigns@gmail.com by June 28.
- Turn in all work at the July 8 TBSDG meeting ONLY if you will not be in town. Please let June Colburn know. Your work should be covered in an old pillow case, sheet, or dry cleaning bag, with packing list from the TBSDG website attached.
- You must deliver your work to Leepa-Rattner by the first rehearsal date. Probably the week of the show.
- Shoes and accessory clothing will be decided at the dry run rehearsal.
- Send out e-vites & invitations to your mailing lists.
- Your work will be ready for pick up at the end of the Fashion Show. If you can’t pick your work up please arrange for someone else to do it.
