Florida CraftArt Pop-Up Show

Florida CraftArt has offered the Guild a Pop-Up Show (not named yet) from March 28 – May 17, 2025. Opening Friday, March 28. There will be 2 parts to this show.

PART 1 - CraftArt will hang our work on the 5 large moveable walls in the shop. We will also have tables in front of the walls. All artwork should be your best work both 2D and 3D. No work wider than 3’ or longer than 6’. No work smaller than 5 x 5”.

PART 2 - CraftArt would like to cover the 4 pillars in the Shop with our handmade yardage (see photos below).

The dimensions of each column are:

Column 1 (front left): 15 1/2" x 15 3/8" = total circumference 61 3/4"

Column 2 (front right): 15" x 15 1/4" = total circumference 60 1/2"

Column 3 (back left): 15 1/4" x 15 1/2" = total circumference 61 1/2"

Column 4 (back right): 14 3/4" x 15 5/8" = total circumference 60 3/4"

We would like your hand dyed, hand printed fabric that is 22” wide and 1 – 2 yards long. We will machine sew the panels together and then probably hand sew the whole sewn-together panel onto the columns. The fabric will be affixed to the top of the column (not sure how yet). YOUR FABRIC IS A DONATION, AND WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. Installation of the fabric on the columns will be Wednesday, March 19. We need to turn in the yardage by the end of February 2025 so it can be sewn together.

The Guild did something like this a few years ago when we sewed our fabric panels onto the arches at CraftArt over the Gallery door. It was fantastic!
