Annual Holiday Party - Potluck and Activities
Textile Showcase (in lieu of Show and Tell)
Members expressed great enthusiasm about bringing in sample textiles gathered from travels, friends, or special finds from around the world. These will be displayed on tables around the room, creating a vibrant and tactile conversation starter.
Guess Who?
Each member is invited to submit a fun or surprising fact about themselves—something few others may know. We’ll compile these “unique features” into a printable list, alongside the names of participating members. During the party, folks can mingle, ask clever questions, and try to match each fact to the right person.
Potluck
This is our annual holiday party night to celebrate any holiday that you choose. Please bring a dish to share from any category of foods. There is always a variety for everyone to enjoy. The guild will be supplying a Honey baked ham, rolls, and drinks, and also paper goods.
Mystery Gift Exchange
If you would like to participate in the mystery gift exchange at the December meeting, please remember to do the following:
- Your gift must be handmade by you. No store bought items and no "kits." Your item must be a completed gift.
- Your gift should be your best work.
- No holiday themed items.
- You are encouraged to use the materials that you already have on hand, but please do not spend more than $20.
- Wrap your gift in a plain brown paper wrapper with no identifiable marks on the package. You may include a card on the inside of the package, if you choose.
- Participation is optional; bring a gift, receive a gift.
