Display Booths at the Fair
Tampa Bay Surface Design Guild has been invited to display members' works at the 2026 Florida State Fair scheduled this year from Feb. 5-16 at the Fairgrounds.
All work produced by members any time is accepted for this display, which is meant to show the variety, creative and depth of talent and expertise of surface design by Guild members. Clothing, small quilts or other hangings, framed pieces, jewelry, sculpture and novelty items are perfect.
In the past two years, we exhibited all but a few submitted items. Members are encouraged to submit multiple items, and all items will be identified by their name and hometown. Everyone who submits an item will receive a free ticket to the Fair.
Members should contact Emily Stehle directly at 727-688-7993 or email thehappiestrabbit@gmail.com if they're submitting pieces (how many) to arrange YOUR TIME for delivery either at her home in Clearwater or her studio in Pinellas Park. She schedules time to be at the studio.
You can bring your items to the ice dyeing workshop this weekend or schedule and confirm your time directly with Emily.

She will beat home 1850 Sharondale Drive, Clearwater Wednesday, Jan. 21 until 4pm, Thursday from 1pm, Friday from morning to 1pm and Sunday, morning-4pm.
VOLUNTEERS (3-4) NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION:
Installation for us is 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday, Jan. 23-29.
Emily is available to start 9:30am to prep the cases and install display on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday at the Fairgrounds.Hopefully, the cases will be finished in one day; otherwise, Emily will return and complete the installation.
